Welcome to the Pullman Reef Hotel Casino!  It is a pleasure to have you as our guest.

As of hotel guest, you receive a discounted rate of $12.00 per day for our undercover car park. Please see hotel reception to validate your ticket. Also, valet parking is available at a cost of $20.00 per day for your convenience. 

On check in you will be asked if you prefer to pre-pay for your stay or if you would like to pay on departure. If you elect to pay on departure the team will take a security deposit called a pre-authorisation. If you did elect to have a pre-authorisation of your credit card taken upon check-in instead of making payment, please be mindful when selecting payment method upon checkout. If electing not to use the same card to settle your account, the pre-authorised funds may be held by your financial provider against your card by your for a period of between 5 and 21 days.

Airconditioning for your room has a control panel at the entry to the room. As we are in the tropics the hotel is not equipped with a heating function. In the cooler months it is best to turn off your airconditioning if you are cold; our team have blankets and heaters for your comfort. To turn the airconditioning off please hold down the power button for 30 seconds until you hear the unit power down. The consul on the airconditioning panel will tell you the temperature of the room and not the setting that you have, please be mindful of this.

Getting to the hotel

If you are arriving to Cairns from the airport, a taxi rank is in operation at the airport with a regular number of vehicles usually on hand to meet most inbound flights.

Due to the number of taxis on hand, the local taxi company will not take bookings from the airport.

Travel time is approximately 15 minutes from the airport.

For bookings from the hotel please dial extension 3 from the phone in the room or speak to the front office staff at the hotel reception.

Airport Shuttle Service

Sun Palm operates the Cairns Airport accredited shuttle service. 

They have service desks at both the Domestic and International Terminals. You can however book your tickets here directly.

Allow 40 minutes travel time.

Locate our main entries

From the north (Airport / Port Douglas) - Travel along the Captain Cook Highway (Sheridan Street) and turn left onto Spence Street. Travel for 3 blocks along Spence Street and turn right onto Abbott Street. At the end of Abbott Street turn left onto Wharf Street. The hotel entrance is on your left.

From the south (Townsville / Innisfail) - Travel along the Bruce Highway (Mulgrave Road) through the city centre. Turn right at Abbott Street (second roundabout). At the end of Abbott Street turn left onto Wharf Street. The hotel entrance is on your left.

Parking

Parking options
Pullman Reef Hotel Casino offers its guests the comfort of an underground security car park - with 24 hour CCTV monitoring. 
Upon check-in there are two options as follows:
- For a flat fee of $8 per day, guests can self-park there car in the underground carpark and receive exit passes, when needing to exit, from reception.
- Drop your keys to us and our valet parking team will take care of your vehicle for a flat fee of $15 per day. When needed, a staff member will bring around the car for you upon request.
Both of these options accommodate multiple exits for the one flat-fee.  i.e. You can take the car out multiple times for $8. 

Self parking is able to be charged to your room account at a discounted fixed rate
When valet parking please call Concierge 15 minutes prior to departure so that we may have your car waiting.

While the car park and valet parking is provided for your convenience, parking is at your own risk. The hotel accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to any vehicle or property of any kind in the vehicle however caused.

How to access the parking facilities 
Upon check-in at Hotel Reception, directions will be given to our underground carpark by staff for self-parking guests. Head from hotel reception around the block to Abbott Street car park down ramp to access self parking facilities.

Outside parking
There is also ample on-street parking surrounding the hotel and nearby which require parking meter fees if you wish.

Policy
Hotel staff have the right to drive any vehicle left for valet parking. Please do not leave valuables in your vehicle and ensure that it is locked before leaving the area. Clients warrant that, if they are not in the vehicle, they have full authority to bind the owner of the vehicle to the conditions of use of valet parking.
